A private space, just for you
Are you a young person looking for help?
Lots of young people go through times when things feel heavy — feeling low, worried, not sleeping, or like no one understands. You're not alone, and it's okay to ask for help. Talking to someone early makes things easier, not harder.
If you feel unsafe right now
If you're thinking about hurting yourself, or you don't feel safe, please tell someone today — a health worker, a teacher, or an adult you trust. You deserve support and you can get it.
If you are in immediate danger, go to the nearest health facility or ask an adult to take you now.
CENCAH will add local helpline numbers for Cross River State here once they are confirmed.
What you can do
If you'd like to understand what you're feeling, a health worker can talk it through with you privately. They use simple questions about your mood, worries and daily life. What you say is kept private — unless they're worried about your safety, when they'll help you get more support.
A young-person version of the wellbeing check
A short, private self-check you can do on your own phone is being built for this space. For now, the safest step is to talk to a health worker or a trusted adult.
